Become a Volunteer
We have scheduled our 2018 Summer Program Volunteer Training for June 4th & 5th. You may also call or email us to schedule an individual training session.
Volunteers are essential in maintaining a quality program! A volunteer’s primary responsibility is to help out the instructors with their classes and interact with the students and horses. Volunteers are also needed to help with the annual auction and other events.
Prepare Lunches
Volunteers are crucial to the program, so we like to show them our appreciation by serving them lunch throughout the week. Signing up to provide a lunch for the volunteers even once a month is a huge help!
Sponsor a Student or Horse
Reins of Hope will not turn a student away due to financial situation. Scholarships are an important means of supporting our organization. A donation of $60 will provide a student with six weeks of 1 hour riding lessons or 12 -30 minute sessions. Also, we must take care of our therapists – our HORSES! We use 1 bag of feed every day. You can call Custom Mills in Hutchinson, Kansas at 620-662-4555 or 800 491 7369 & for less than $10 you can purchase a bag over the phone and they will deliver it to our center for free! We love HAY donations too!

Reins of Hope is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization; however, it does require financial support to care for our students and our equine therapists. Please consider supporting Reins of Hope financially; every dollar will benefit the students, and a student has never been turned away due to an inability to pay. All donations are tax-deductible.

Reins of Hope serves well over 150 riders ranging in age from 3 years to 78 years old and launched a veterans program. We want to continue to do this and grow our program! We are so blessed to be able to do what we are doing and couldn’t do it without your support.
