Reins of Hope is a not-for-profit therapeutic horseback riding program. Our mission is to enhance the lives of students with disabilities. Click on the video above to learn more about the program & therapeutic riding

What We Do

Therapeutic riding, above all, works to provide individuals with disabilities with a better quality of life. The true therapist is the horse, as its gentle motion stimulates muscles and increases circulation, balance, strength, and control.  In addition, the rider’s emotional skills are improved, such as concentration, patience, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships.  Therapeutic riding truly creates a special bond between horse, rider, instructor and volunteers.

Who We Are

The Reins of Hope Board of Directors is responsible for establishing the policies and procedures to ensure the success of our program.  They are a working board, logging countless volunteer hours to make our events and programs successful.
